Use of DMAP in Steroid Transformations

Catalysis by DMAP has been found to be of great utility in transformations of steroids. So many examples are known that it is impossible to include them all here. Some examples are depicted below to illustrate the types of reactions found successful for the acylation of very sterically hindered hydroxyl groups.
